RAMP RFID Solutions provide a wide range of High Frequency (HF) RFID Tags & Labels to fulfill our customer needs for a number of applications including asset tracking, item identification, cashless payment and loyalty. HF RFID Tags & Labels operate at 13.56MHz and is a license free worldwide RFID standard with short read range, usually only a few cm’s up to a maximum of 1 meter.
HF RFID Tags are HF RFID Inlays embedded in a rigid housing and are ideal for access control, cashless payment and loyalty applications and asset/item identification.
In access control and payment applications the form factor of the tags are mostly PVC cards similar to credit cards, wristbands or key fobs and are carried by people to use at entry/exit points or Point of Sale system, vending machine etc.
HF RFID tags are also ideal for short range asset/item identification, in particular on items high in metal or liquid where HF RFID technology works particularly well.

An RFID label, often called a smart label, generally comprises an inlay, which is an integrated circuit (IC or chip) that has been mounted on a flexible PET substrate with an etched antenna design. The resulting inlay is then sandwiched between the paper face of the label and its adhesive backing, yielding a smart label. The label can then be printed and encoded using an RFID printer.
RAMP RFID Solutions supply the full range of HF RFID Inlays and standard size labels from UPM Raflatac, the global leader in RFID Inlay and label manufacturing. We also work with a wide range of label converters who use these inlays to make labels to suit any requirements.
HF passive labels are mostly applied in item-level tagging applications, including books and CDs/DVDs.
