The optimal  way to communicate with a 3rd party system is via Web Services.

OnRamp can integrate with any 3rd party application using the following methods:

• Web Services: Web service interface provided by 3rd party application using SOAP protocol
• HTTP request: HTTP request interface provided by 3rd party application
• API: Standard or Customized API available with 3rd party application.
• Database Communication: Direct communication with 3rd party database (SQL Server, Oracle etc.)

The most optimized way to communicate with a 3rd party system is via Web Services.
